What is the Clueffy Game?

An open-question game where the answer nobody else thinks of is worth the most.

The Clueffy Game asks six open questions, like "Name something you find in a junk drawer." You type one answer to each, and any sensible answer counts. The score comes from how many other players gave the same answer — the rarer yours is, the more it is worth. It is built on a counter-intuitive rule. Most quizzes reward the correct answer, which is the answer everyone reaches. This game rewards the opposite: the answer you reach by skipping your first thought and typing the second or third.

Your first thought is everyone's first thought

Open questions do not have one right answer, which is what makes them hard. The moment a prompt appears, a shared answer forms in most players at once, because it is the most obvious one. That answer is accepted, but so many people give it that it is worth almost nothing. The Clueffy Game turns that instinct into the obstacle. The points live in the second and third thoughts, the answers that still fit the prompt but did not surface for everyone. The skill is not knowing facts; it is knowing which fact is ordinary enough to be right and unusual enough to be rare.

The tractor beam turns rarity into loot you can see

A bare score is easy to ignore, so the game shows it as weight. After you send an answer, a tractor beam lowers from the saucer and lifts something off the ground. The fewer players who gave your answer, the bigger the object the beam pulls up. A common answer lifts a pebble or a rubber duck. A rare one lifts a bicycle, a cow, or a whole tractor. The scale reads the score at a glance, so you do not have to wait for the total to know whether a round went well.

Six tiers separate a pebble from a tractor

Every accepted answer is worth between 10 and 500 points, and only one number decides it: the share of today's players who typed the same thing. An answer given by more than a third of players is a pebble. One given by fewer than one in two hundred is a tractor worth the full 500. Between those two ends sit four more tiers, each tied to the share of players, so an answer's value drifts through the day as more people play. Six rare answers in a row add up to a perfect 3,000, which is how the daily mission is won.

Eight souvenirs mark how far the saucer flew

The saucer flies east as your score climbs, and wherever it stops decides what the cadet beams home for its Academy exam. Low scores stop at a moonlit farm for a lonely sock. Higher ones reach a village gnome, a shopping cart, an ice cream van, a lighthouse and a Ferris wheel. The top of the route is a giant donut at 2,600 points, and beyond it hides a secret souvenir that only unlocks when you score 2,400 or more and then answer a bonus question rarely enough. Every souvenir stays in your collection on the device.

One mission a day, plus unlimited rounds

The daily mission is a single run, the same six questions for everyone, so scores stay fair to compare. That is the game most people come back for, because one shared set of prompts is what makes a rare answer mean something. For players who want more, the Clueffy Game also deals fresh questions as often as you like, and the archive keeps every past mission. The daily run keeps the leaderboard honest; the unlimited rounds keep the game open.

The games from Clueffy's videos live here too

Clueffy is a creator whose short videos play a different daily browser game each day, numbered like "CLUEFFY Day 26." Fans who come looking for a game from a video find STRANDED, Eraly, Krillion, Noillirk, Cosmillion, Hopdown and Anthropeum, each with its own page on this site. Every one of them is playable in the same window, so a search after watching a video does not end in a dead end. The Clueffy Game sits beside them as the site's own daily game, built on the same rare-answer idea.

02

Why choose the Clueffy Game

Rare answers, visible loot, and a daily loop that gives every round a reason.

01

Rare answers win

Points follow the share of players who gave the same answer, not whether it is factually right. A sensible answer nobody else types can beat an obvious one.

02

A perfect run at 3,000

Six answers nobody else gave pay 500 points each. The total is a clean target that makes a strong day measurable.

03

Eight souvenirs to collect

The saucer's stopping point becomes a keepsake, from a lonely sock to a giant donut, with a secret one behind a bonus question.

04

One shared daily mission

Everyone gets the same six questions each day, so a rare answer means the same thing for every player, and scores compare fairly.

05

Unlimited rounds on demand

Fresh questions as often as you like, without waiting for the next day's mission or touching today's score.

06

No penalty for a miss

An answer that is not accepted is turned away, not punished. It only costs the seconds you spent typing, so a round never ends on a trap.

03

How to play the daily mission

Four steps, about two minutes for six questions.

  1. 01

    Press Start mission

A fluffy alien cadet flies its saucer over a farm at night. Three seconds after each question appears, the 25-second clock starts.

  2. 02

    Type one answer

Answer in English, then press Enter or BEAM to send it. SKIP passes. Small typos are caught and you are asked to confirm before it goes.

  3. 03

    Watch the beam

The tractor beam lowers and lifts loot from the ground. The fewer players who gave your answer, the bigger the object and the more points.

  4. 04

    See what comes home

After six questions your total out of 3,000 decides which souvenir the cadet flies home with.

The first answer that comes to mind is the trap. I type it, delete it, and go with the second before the clock runs down.

We read each prompt out loud and everyone shouts an answer. The one nobody said twice is the one that scores, so the quiet player usually wins.

Six 500-point answers in a row is the target. Most days I land around 2,000, but the bonus question only opens above 2,400, so the chase stays on.
